Estranging from faith

Wind on alleys of my town,

Rain has washed the wasted ground,

Clouds have cried with tears of blood,

They have mourned the loss of God.

Fading lights have turn to rust,

Towers crumbling into dust,

Rake away the leaves of grief,

Turn from path of unbelief.

Shadows stretched over the time,

Treachery has warped the mind,

World has found the golden crown,

And has thought for its renown,

Aiming stars but losing self,

All beyond the rule of realm,

To delude the fair of loss,

To come home by weeping cross.
